The charter
The Foundation operates in the Republic of Poland and since 1.05.2004 in the European Union. For the proper implementation of social and economic objectives, the Foundation may carry on its activities in the country and outside the borders of the Republic of Poland.
The Foundation was established to:
Create economic, educational, cultural and environmental initiatives.
Support self-governace and civil society development,
Act for the integration of the European Union countries,
Popularize strategic planning in local government, public administration and enterprises,
Popularize innovation in local governments, public administration and enterprises,
Popularize the idea of sustainable development,
Popularize the idea of partnership,
Popularize modern technology and communication tools,
Develop education and higher education,
Improve the functioning of central and local administration at all levels,
Promote social, scientific, cultural and educational activities, and spread the experiences in the field of regional development between domestic and foreign organizations.
Equalize the opportunities for young people and graduates, and help disadvantaged groups.
Stimulate business development and job creation,
Organize expeditions and research,
Act for rural area development.
Support the socially excluded groups, help people in difficult situations
Protect the environment and promote environmental ideas, behaviors, solutions and technologies
Support grassroots initiatives
The above-mentioned objectives will be implemented particularly in the framework of initiatives in the following areas: education, school system, human rights, social welfare, environment protection, health, culture, regional and local development.
The Foundation carries out its tasks in cooperation with:
Commune, district and regional governments on the areas where the Foundation operates, and the units subordinate to the governments
Government administration at all levels,
Organizations of non-governmental sector,
Scientific research institutions and establishments, the Chambers of Commerce and Chambers of Crafts, agricultural organizations, and other organizations having similar or convergent goals to those set out in article 10, both domestic and foreign,
European and international public institutions, governmental and non-governmental organizations which goal is the structural, financial and economic development support and shaping the regions in Central and Eastern Europe.
Commercial companies and banks that can support, finance and contribute to realisation of the Foundation's objectives.
High schools and universities.
Individuals wishing to pursue public activity which might positively affect the achievement of the objectives which the Foundation is committed to.
